Restaurant Delivery Services in Oklahoma City

Even the old cliche "night and day" doesn't do justice to the comparison between the Oklahoma City restaurant landscape in the 1990's to today. Every day, it seems, a new, unique option enters the market. The only downside to that is that it's hard to try them all. Plus, sometimes you just want to be lazy and not go out. That's where restaurant food delivery services come in quite handy, and there are a few in the OKC metro area.

Here are restaurant delivery options in Oklahoma City, with details on delivery area, cost and restaurant choices. Note that the delivery charge amount listed below is not gratuity for the driver, so don't forget to tip him or her.

GrubHub Oklahoma City

Delivery Charge: None

The best-known on a national level, GrubHub is available in more than 900 cities, including Oklahoma City.  Rather than charging for the service, GrubHub collects a fee from the individual restaurants.  This means the overall restaurant selection is quite limited and doesn't stretch much beyond the central core, but the list does include at least one unique local option: pizza restaurant Knuck's Wheelhouse in Bricktown.

Delivery Charge: $3.99

The most recent addition to this list of takeout delivery services, locally-owned OrderUp began operations in 2015.  Though they are currently only available within Oklahoma City and Norman in the metro, the service includes some excellent metro restaurants such as Iguana Grill, Ingrid's Kitchen, Urban Johnnie and more.  And if you want pizza far superior to the chain places that deliver, OrderUp has a couple of OKC's best pizza options: The Wedge Pizzeria and Hideaway.  You can even track your order through the company's website or through the OrderUp app, either iOS or Android.
