Saturday, October 25, 2014 - The Reno Zombie Crawl 2014 starts at 8 p.m. For $5, you get a map and a bracelet that will gain you entry into over 40 crawl bars, sign you up for contests, and entitle you to $2 and $3 drink specials. At 7 p.m., before the crawl starts, zombies can gather on Virginia Street for a mass thriller dance under the Reno Arch. The dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller is alcohol - free and open to all ages. Dance sign - ups are next to the Reno Arch at Harrah's Plaza and start at 6 p.m. Earlier in the day, the No-Brainer 5K fun run will be held at Rancho San Rafael Park.
Saturday, October 25, 2014 - You are invited to join Nevada Humane Society for the inaugural Creatures Costume Fundraiser Ball, a special event presented by the Reno News and Review and hosted at Bourbon Square Casino in Sparks. Proceeds from this gala go to benefit homeless pets at Nevada Humane Society.

Friday, October 31, 2014 - Nevada's 150th birthday celebration and fundraiser for Comstock Preservation District. Take the Virginia & Truckee Railroad from Virginia City down to Gold Hill where artist Steven Saylor's rendition of the day it all started is unveiled at the newly renovated Gold Hill Depot. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Then catch the train back to Virginia City for the parade, shopping and Virginia City atmosphere before heading to Piper's Opera House for a meet and greet with dignitaries before the ball.

Saturday, October 25, 2014 - The Annual Freaker's Ball at Lake Tahoe's Montbleu will get 21+ adults into four different venues for the price of admission - Opal Ultra Lounge, Blu Nightclub, Montbleu Convention Center, and the Haunted Zone Party Pit. This year's theme is "Freaky Horror Picture Show" and entails a Time Warp Dance, décor from over 80 years of horror films, a congo parade and high energy dance music. The party starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $25 in advance, $30 week of the party. There will be body painting, Go Go dancers, and $10,000 in costume prizes.
