In Short:

Remington Park is Oklahoma City's horse racing track, the first legalized gambling venue in the state when it opened in 1988. Ranked as one of the best racetracks in the country, Remington Park features Quarter Horse races from March through June, a Paint and Appaloosa season, and Thoroughbred races from August through December. In addition, the facility now has a casino, referred to as a "racino," with over 750 games, as well as a restaurants, cafe, arcade, park area and more.

Remington Park is located just off Martin Luther King Avenue, south of I-44 and west if I-35, in an area known as Oklahoma City's Adventure District.
The Oklahoma City Zoo is just to the south of Remington Park, so this detailed map will give you an idea of the area.

Horse Races:

Remington Park is open 365 days a year for casino gaming and simulcast horse racing from around the world, but Remington's own horse racing season begins in March with Quarter Horse races through the end of May and often into early June. The Thoroughbred season begins in August and runs through mid-December. See the current Racing Calendar online.

Race Viewing:

Admission to Remington Park is free, but visitors must be 18 years of age to wager. Viewers enjoy bench seating or theatre-style clubhouse seating in a fully enclosed, climate-controlled stadium. Club One Boxes are available for a charge. The Suites Level features small and full-size suites and an art gallery.

Remington Park's "racino" opened in 2005 and features over 750 electronic gaming machines, though no table games. The casino is open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Casino patrons must be 18 years of age, and there are frequent promotions such as tournaments and giveaways.
The "Lucky Circle" player's club is free to join and earns points that can be redeemed for food and additional games.

Food & Drink:

Silks Restaurant is Remington Park's fine dining clubhouse restaurant. With panoramic views of the racing action and television monitors, Silks features a menu of steaks, seafood, salads, chicken and pastas as well several signature desserts.
In 2012, Remington Park added a location of the popular Bricktown Brewery, located on the casino level.
In addition to concessions, the park also has a snack bar and a trackside cafe. The Wild Rush Bar and Stage often has live music on Wednesdays and weekends.
