Tauck combines experience and innovation in its tours, safaris and ocean and river cruises. The Tauck family is known for creating new types of tours, bringing visitors to less-traveled parts of the world and working to preserve US national parks for future generations to enjoy.

Tauck tours and cruises take travelers to North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia and New Zealand.

Quick Facts

Tauck won the Virtuoso Destination Showcase's "Best Destinations & Experiences Escorted Tour Partner" award in 2015 and 2016 and the Travel Weekly Magellan Gold Award in 2015 for River Cruising. Tauck has won many awards over the years for luxury tours, culinary tours, safaris, customer satisfaction and more.

Tauck’s escorted tours include cruises, river adventures, safaris, rail journeys and traditional tour groups. Most tour groups include 35-44 people.

Tauck’s “A Week In…” (Italy, Paris-Provence, London-Paris, Spain, and so on) tours are especially popular.

Tauck has partnered with Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan to create Ken Burns American Journeys, a collection of travel experiences crafted around Burns and Duncan's films.

Tauck has also partnered with BBC Earth to create its Earth Journeys collection of travel experiences. Earth Journeys take you to places showcased in the BBC Earth series, including Alaska, Costa Rica, Tanzania, India, Nepal, Botswana, Kenya, Peru, Antarctica and more.

Tauck’s tours include unusual destinations, such as Botswana and Zambia, and adventure opportunities, including their Bugaboos Adventure tour, which features heli-hiking.

Tauck partners with VisaCentral to help guests obtain their required travel visas. You are not obligated to work with VisaCentral. In either case, you are responsible for obtaining any required travel visas before your departure date.

Tauck offers travel insurance for cruises and land-based tours and safaris. You may purchase separate travel insurance coverage if you wish.

Tauck’s tour prices do not include airfare, but you can book your air travel through Tauck if you wish.

Because Tauck passes off-season savings on to its customers, tour prices vary by departure date.

Some of Tauck’s tours are wheelchair and scooter-friendly, but others are not. In general, Tauck does not allow wheelchair and scooter users to travel to international or "exotic" destinations. Travelers to the US and Canada who use a wheelchair or scooter should contact Tauck to discuss their accessibility options before making a travel reservation.

Tauck’s staff cannot assist wheelchair users on Tauck tours, cruises or safaris. If you use a wheelchair, you will need to bring a travel companion to assist you.

Tauck's Culturious small group tours offer intimate cultural immersion experiences, interaction with locals, active exploration options (bicycling, hiking, snowshoeing and more), and hands-on opportunities, such as cooking classes.

Tauck gives back through its Destination Grants Program, which focuses on historic preservation and conservation at destinations that Tauck guests visit and through its World of Giving program, which works with partner organizations such as the US National Park Service to assist with local community initiatives, disaster response preparation and encouraging employee volunteerism.
