Grand Circle Travel's tours and cruises are designed to offer travelers, particularly those over age 50, life-changing international and adventure travel experiences. The company's Best Price Guarantee states that if you can find a comparable trip offered by another company at a lower price, Grand Circle will match the price. Grand Circle Travel promises that you won’t pay any hidden charges and that, once you book your tour, your price will not go up.


North, Central, and South America, Cuba, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Arctic Ocean and Antarctica.

Tour Participant Demographics:

Normally, tour participants are 50 and older, but travelers may be as young as 13.

Single Traveler Information:

Grand Circle Travel promises that all land tours are single supplement-free. Some Mediterranean small ship cruises are also supplement-free. Grand Circle Travel offers a roommate-matching service if you want to avoid the single supplement on your cruise. This service will either find you a same-sex roommate or, if a roommate cannot be found, your single supplement will be waived.


$2,195 and up, depending on departure point, plus government taxes and fees. Some tours do not include airfare to and from your departure point.

Grand Circle Travel offers three options for arranging air travel. You can choose a "Land Only" tour and make your own airline reservations. With this option,you must also arrange your own airport transfers or pay Grand Circle extra for your transfers. You can select the "Standard Air" option; Grand Circle Travel will book your air travel and choose your airline and route for you. Or, you can choose the "Personalized Air" option, which allows you to choose your airline and route. Pricing varies, depending on the option you select.

Your tour price will vary by departure city. You may be able to save money if you fly from your second-closest departure city instead of from the airport nearest your home.

You can save up to 10 percent on your tour by paying early. Ask about the Good Buy Plan for more information.

You are responsible for obtaining your own travel visas, if required. Grand Circle Travel will send you an information packet so that you know how to apply and pay for your visas.

Grand Circle Travel discourages wheelchair users from taking their tours. However, a few trips are wheelchair-accessible. On these trips, Grand Circle Travel requires wheelchair users to bring a small, collapsible wheelchair.

Some Grand Circle trips are not suitable for travelers who use mobility aids. Contact Grand Circle Travel for help choosing a trip that matches your abilities. Motorized scooters are not allowed.
