The Miami SkyLift is an interesting new attraction located in downtown Miami's Bayfront Park. You'll gain an interesting perspective on our city when you ride 500 feet into the air in a helium balloon suspended above the park. The ride lasts about 15 minutes and includes a narrated description of Miami as you ride. 2013 Miami Book Fair International
The Miami Book Fair International takes place each November at the Wolfson Campus of Miami Dade College (located at 300 NE 2nd Avenue). This year's festival occurs from Sunday November 17th through Sunday November 24th.
The fair includes evening lectures beginning on Sunday through Friday. More information on the lecture schedule and free tickets are available on the Miami Book Fair website.
The highlight of the event is the street fair that takes place on November 22-24 and requires a $5 admission fee for adults over 18. Children and students receive free admission.Continue to 5 of 27 below.

The Barnacle on Miami's Biscayne Bay
The Barnacle, a Florida State Historic Site, contains the oldest standing home in Dade County. Built by Ralph Munroe in 1891, this historic estate has survived several major hurricanes including the Hurricane of 1926 and Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

Clifford the Big Red Dog Visits Miami

Deering Estate at Cutler
The Deering Estate at Cutler is a 444-acre historic and environmental preserve that offers a variety of activities suitable for children and adults of all ages. It is managed by Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation on behalf of the State of Florida. The estate features historic buildings, nature trails and canoe trips out to Chicken Key.
