Practice Your Photography on Safari in East Africa

Capture Your Best Moments on Safari With andBeyond's New Photography Program

Have you ever dreamt of going on safari? Have you ever dreamt of going on safari and bringing back photos to prove it? Dreams can quickly become reality, as photos, the keepers of our most treasured memoirs of a safari, are the focus of andBeyond’s new photo-safari program.

Imagine yourself, immersed in a land where wild cheetahs zoom by, giraffes graze the open plain, and lions stalk their prey. And now, you can bring back the pictures to prove it. Veteran and aspiring photographers alike can embark on a fully customized full or half-day safari in a professionally optimized photographic vehicle, where travelers can explore the vast landscape of the African countryside. With options ranging from taking in the natural landscape views of the Maasai Mara National Reserve or the Serengeti National Park, four andBeyond camps now offer the photography experience: Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp and Bateleur Camp in Kenya, and Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Serengeti Under Canvas in Tanzania. andBeyond's new offering insures that each guest returns home with professional quality images to put on the walls and share on social networks like Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is known as Kenya's most beloved safari camp, perfect for travelers seeking a quintessential game viewing experience. Located within the Maasai Mara National Reserve and sitting adjacent to the riverine forest and open plains, you can photograph the Great Migration here. Compliment your photography rolodex with panoramic views during a stay at andBeyond's Bateleur Camp, also in Kenya, which is located on the edge of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Or opt to capture Tanzania at andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas located within the Serengeti National Park. Both properties offer an opportunity to photograph some of the most secluded parts of Africa’s most famous game reserve.

A photo journey with andBeyond includes the opportunity to have unobstructed views of the African landscape, 360° degree swivel chairs for optimal photography angles, a personal bar and air conditioning to keep you comfortable – ensuring a truly memorable photographic experience. Guests can choose to enjoy their safari in the company of a specialist photographic guide or in the company of an andBeyond safari guide. The vehicle can also be booked per seat or in its entirety, with a minimum of 2 guests for this adventure.

For novice travel photographers, andBeyond's new program lends guests top-notch, expert photo equipment to ensure the best photos are captured. Of course, guests can bring their own equipment, and social sharing of photos is both recommended and encouraged. To book your trip, select from the two options below.
