Looking for a summer camp for your child? These camps are focused on artistic endeavors to bring out the creative potential in the campers. They are listed here in alphabetical order. Quotations were obtained from the camp's website.

ASU School of Art Summer Sessions
ASU School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts offers summer sessions focused on four of our seven studio disciplines of fine art: ceramics, fibers, intermedia, painting/drawing, printmaking, photography or sculpture. The summer sessions are designed to give you an art immersion experience. You will work with faculty on creative projects that represent the variety of courses offered from the School of Art BFA program. The summer sessions will conclude with an exhibition of student work in Gallery 100 on ASU’s Tempe campus.

Ahwatukee Children's Theatre
Vocal camp for grades 7 thru 12 and for K thru 6. Three other camps focus on stage productions, all of which have final performances at local theaters.

Shemer Art Center
Kids ages 4 through 16 experience art, have fun and develop new skills in everything from ceramics and duct-tape art to basic drawing and painting. 

Ballet Arizona
Intensive programs for ages 4 - 16, including musical theater, dance and ballet. Auditions required.

Camp Broadway
"....a performing arts summer camp direct from New York for theater-loving kids ages ASU Gammage. Campers will work with distinguished Broadway performers, writers and designers through classes in acting, scene study, improvisation, music theory, singing and dancing."

Camp Imagination
" annual two-week summer arts camp for children designed to stretch the imagination of children by introducing them to a variety of arts genres through an intensive hands-on program of activities that integrates technical, visual and performing arts mediums. For children grades 1–12 at Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts.

Chandler Children's Choir Summer Camp
Youth ages 6-15 learn singing, acting, performing, and choreography techniques in both small and large group settings. Practice groups are organized by similar age. The camp is offered for one week only.

Chandler Young Actors Group, Music Theater Camps
"Kids get the opportunity to spend time in a professional theatre setting working with professional artists who will coach them in all aspects of musical theatre including dancing, singing and acting. For ages 7 - 14. Each of the Camps culminate with a staged production at the Chandler Center for the Arts."

Childsplay Academy
Frfom Hogwarts to Shakespeare, movie scenes to poetry, acting classes to musicals, puppetry to playwriting. More than 30 classes for a variety of age and skill levels are offered.

Culinary Summer Camp
Introduce your child to the wonderful world of ‘Classic Cooking’. Learn some knife skills to start an adventure of fun in the kitchen. Elementary, as well as more advanced cooking techniques, will be included for all ages and levels of skill. Sessions for ages 8-12 and 13-17.

i.d.e.a. Museum Day Camp
Several programs each with a different artistic focus: drawing, building, storytelling, science experiments and puppets. Camp is for children ages 5-7.

Kids Cook and Teens Cook
At Sweet Basil Gourmetware & Cooking School in Scottsdale. Programs for ages 8 - 12 and 13 - 17. For kids "who enjoy cooking & want to learn about a wide variety of foods, techniques & methods."

Fountain Hills Performing Arts Camp
"Fountain Hills Theater is proud of their youth education programs for children and teenagers ages 3 to 18. We are constantly working to improve and expand our youth programs with the best instructors and curriculum in the valley. We now offer youth education programs year long: Fall Workshops, Spring Workshops, Summer Mini-Camps and our Teen Summer Camp with optional New York Trip."

Mesa Arts Center Summer Arts Camp for Kids
In this weekly camp campers will enjoy drama, dance, music, puppetry, and art classes taught by trained artists/educators. A ratio of one instructor to 10 campers will be maintained during all activities. Campers must provide their own food and beverages for lunch and snacks. Camp is thematically based and each week will have a different sub-theme.

Music Maker Summer Camp
Music camps for ages 3 through 18. A variety of camps cover musical instruments, voice, crafts. Start a band, perform with professional musicians, learn an instrument. All experience levels.

Musician Enrichment Foundation Band Camp
At Tempe Center for the Arts. For students in grades 7 - 12. Camp ends with a student performance.

Phoenix Theatre Summer Camps
Performing arts camps: Little Playmakers (Ages 4-6); Musical Theatre Workshops (Ages 6-16); Master Classes (Ages 12-18); Musical Theatre Intensive (Ages 10-15 & Ages 16+). All levels of experience.

Phoenix Youth Improv Summer Camp
Improv comedy and musical improv will "focus on the fundamentals of improv while learning specific skills and games to provide a safe environment for campers to feel more comfortable on stage and collaborating as a group." Ages 8 - 17.

Scorpius Dance Theatre Aerial Summer Camps
Scorpius Dance Theatre is hosting aerial kids (ages 8-12) and teens (ages 13-17) summer camps in their aerial studio. Students will learn basic climbs, knots, proper safety, spotting and posture as well as different poses and transition sequences on the hoop and aerial silks. All classes are daily, Monday through Friday.

Scottsdale Artists’ School
"The School offers workshops where kids and teens can discover and express their vision through art! Students are inspired to draw, paint and sculpt while experiencing an authentic artists’ school using professional equipment, lighting, props and tools." Accommodates all student artists, beginning to advanced levels, ages 6-18.

Scottsdale Desert Stages Summer Camp
Children ages 3-13, learn all about musical theatre in a fun, non-competitive environment. They offer three 3-week themed sessions that provide young actors with hands-on theatrical experience. Sessions conclude with a performance for family and friends.

Stage Dreams Youth Theater
"Our one week Stage Camp will focus on learning performing skills through acting games, mini singing lessons and dance practice....Our two week Dream Camp will focus on learning all the elements needed to put together a complete show. Students will go through the audition process, rehearsal process and end with two performances for family, friends and the community.  We will have sets, costumes, lights and props - everything you need for a professional show. Children have the opportunity to participate in many aspects of the theatrical process. This camp also offers our student Tech Program for students entering grades 6 -12."

Summer Design Workshop
"The Design School in the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts offers a summer introductory course focused on the design disciplines of architecture, industrial design, interior design, landscape architecture, and visual communication design. The Summer Design Primer is designed to help you explore and succeed in your design education at Arizona State University. The course will introduce basic design skills such as: sketching, interpretation and visual organization of information, creative thinking, model construction, spatial thinking and adobe creative suite."

Theater Works
SummerWorks is part of YouthWorks Academy arts and education programming for ages 3 – 18 years. YouthWorks Academy classes and camps teach creative approaches to life skills with exciting and enriching themes that inspire and instill a love for the performing arts. SummerWorks camps are taught by Theater Works distinguished teaching artists There are SummerWorks classes for all skill levels, indulging the just-for-fun campers and those who want to hone their musical theater skills. With many camp themes, from Broadway to Superheroes, boys and girls alike will have a fun-filled creative summer.

Torch Theatre Improv Summer Day Camp
Age-appropriate introductory level improvisation instruction. Each class will focus on basic improv skills using the principle of yes, and. They will exercise skills in listening, acceptance and collaboration. Improvisation is a great outlet for kids to use their imaginations and have fun, meanwhile, strengthening their communication and social skills. Ages 5 - 18.

Trish Mayberry Art Classes
Trish's fine art classes in Paradise Valley include animal drawing, chalk art, drawing, oil painting, watercolors and more, broken down into age appropriate groups.

Valley Youth Theatre Summer Camp
Workshops and summer camps. Includes arts education, acting, music, and dance. Programs are geared to ages 5-6 and 7-16. "Each day they will participate in daily classes in the three disciplines of musical theatre: acting, dance, and music as well as participate in a production to be showcased at the end of the session."
