Sweet Tomatoes is an all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar chain restaurant. In addition to lots of veggies and salad fixings, you will find focaccia and pizza, a pasta bar, and a baked potato bar. Its concept was born in southern California, as a healthy alternative to fast food. The restaurant boasts that it uses the freshest fruits and vegetables and makes soups and baked goods made from scratch. If you have eaten at a Souplantation, then you are familiar with Sweet Tomatoes, they are one and the same. There are seven Sweet Tomatoes locations in the Phoenix area: Ahwatukee Foothills, Arrowhead, Desert Ridge, Gilbert, Metrocenter, Scottsdale, and Tempe.

Souper! Salad! is less focused on meats and sides, and concentrates heavily on fresh vegetable and fruit salad ingredients. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The entrees are bottomless and the prices are super affordable. The restaurant is not as "new" as the name suggests, it has been around since at least 2013.
