A cold day in golf is coming; oh my! Soon golfers north of the Mason-Dixon will be forced to put their clubs away for the winter (insert audible gasps here). But for those whose parting is too much sweet sorrow to handle, fear not, PGA National Resort & Spa is offering a range of Fall Vacation Packages and can help keep swings warm with its slate of exception fall and winter vacation packages.

Does your perfect day start and end on the golf course?

Is 36 holes an easy walk in the park? Then PGA National has the perfect package for you with its Fall Escape and Unlimited Play promotion. Starting at $279 (per person, per night), it includes accommodations with a balcony or terrace (style is certainly not lacking at PGA National), daily breakfast in the Palm Terrace (you’ll need fuel for a full day of golf) and unlimited daily play on the Palmer, Fazio, Squire or Estates courses. For a nominal surcharge, you can add the famed Champion Course to your rotation. And trust me, you’ll want to tee it up on this iconic Jack Nicklaus design. It’s hosted the PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic since 2007 for a reason: the legendary “Bear Trap” (holes 15-17) is one of the most exciting three-hole stretches in all of golf. But don’t take my word for it, GOLF.com recently ranked the Honda Classic the 11th best event on the PGA TOUR; if the pros love playing here you will too.

For those who want to spend the afternoon relaxing at the spa or taking a lap in the pool, but still want to enjoy a round of golf, check out PGA National’s Gold Golf package, the southern Florida resort’s most popular stay-and-play offer. Also starting at $279 per person (per night, double occupancy), it treats guests to luxury accommodations with a private balcony or terrace, full breakfast in the Palm Terrace, one round of golf on The Champion (surcharge), Palmer, Fazio, Squire or Estates courses, and unlimited range balls.

And if you’re looking to not only play golf, but improve at it, PGA National is home to three world-class academies. The resort’s newest offering, the Leadbetter Golf Academy Package, provides the ultimate game improvement experience. Starting at $579 (per person, per night), it features three hours of Leadbetter Mini School instruction per day, overnight accommodations, breakfast and one round of golf on any of the resort’s five golf courses (surcharge for the Champion Course). If the name Leadbetter sounds familiar, it should; the legendary instructor has worked with the likes of Ernie Els, Ian Poulter, Lydia Ko and Michelle Wie. So yes, your game is in good hands at PGA National.

“With our five exceptional courses, PGA TOUR quality driving ranges and world-class instruction, PGA National is a golf lover’s dream,” says Greg Saunders, Vice President, Managing Director. “Our resort amenities, luxuriously appointed rooms, world-class spa, and fine dining outlets all provide ample reasons why we’re at the pinnacle of south Florida destinations.”

But there’s more than just golf at PGA National. Tennis enthusiasts will love the resort’s Tennis Package which starts at $229 (per person based on double occupancy) or $349 per single.

Guests will enjoy plush, nightly accommodations, a daily breakfast buffet, one-hour tennis lesson per day from a Certified Staff Professional and unlimited court time (11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) on any of the resort’s 18 Har Tru courts.

Guests can also enjoy full access to the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Sports & Racquet Club (SRC; 33,000 square feet). Highlights of the sleek facility include high-tech exercise equipment, indoor racquet ball court, three aerobics studios with new sound system, five-lane saltwater lap pool, indoor volleyball court and two lighted pickle ball courts (if you haven’t tried this fun game, you need to).

Fresh off an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation, there’s so much to do at PGA National Resort & Spa; it’s a one-stop shop for all things entertainment.

Five world-class golf courses, massive sports club and comfy lodging are just the tip of the iceberg. Also be sure to check out the 40,000-square-foot Spa at PGA National, a true oasis of tranquility, or any of its eight on-site restaurants and lounges (the Seafood Risotto at the chef-driven Ironwood Steak & Seafood restaurant is a must try).
