Peoria, Arizona was first developed by settlers from Peoria, Illinois in the late 1880’s. Celebrate Peoria’s heritage and its future at the annual Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival. This event replaces what used to be known as the Peoria Pioneer Days Parade and Family Picnic.
When is the Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival?
Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where is it?
In Old Town Peoria, at Peoria and Grand Avenues.
You'll find performances/activities at the following venues; Osuna Park, Peoria’s Center for Performing Arts, Peoria Historical Museums, Community Center and surrounding Streets.
What will happen there?
Students from Peoria Unified School District will exhibit their artwork, and perform dance routines, theater acts, choir and band. For a small fee (bring cash) you can participate in a family bike ride, wagon rides, and the kid's zone.
How do I get tickets and how much are they?
There are no tickets. Admission is free. Some activities may have a small charge.
What else should I know?
Students in 7th-12th grades participated in the Arts & Cultural Festival Art Contest. Photography, decoupage, painting, drawing, typography, sculpture and mixed media -- it's all good! Festival attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite pieces.
