The Pentagon City Metro Station provides direct and easy access to the shopping mall. The parking garage accommodates more than 4,400 cars. There are two entrances, at 15th Street and Army-Navy Street.
Driving Directions: The Pentagon City area is easily accessible from the George Washington Memorial Parkway, I-395 and US Route 1.
From Downtown: Take I-395 South toward Richmond, Take Exit 8C on the left to merge onto U.S. 1 South toward Pentagon City/Crystal City/Alexandria, Take the 15th St S exit toward Pentagon City, Turn right onto 15th St S. Turn right onto S Hayes St. Turn left onto 12th St S. Turn right and the Mall will be on the left.
From the George Washington Memorial Parkway South: Exit toward I-395 N/Lyndon B.Johnson/Memorial Grove/Pentagon. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 395 S and merge onto S Washington Blvd. Merge right onto VA-244 W/Columbia Pike toward Virginia 27/Navy Annex/Wash Boulevard. Turn left onto S Joyce St. Turn left onto Army Navy Dr. Turn right.

The Pentagon City Mall was recently renovated to bring outward-facing shops and restaurants to S. Hayes Street. The 51,000-square-foot, two-story, glass-and-metal addition houses new tenants. Transportation improvements improved safety and access for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and vehicles along S. Hayes Street between Army Navy Drive and 15th Street S. Updated features include the addition of an escalator to improve access from the mall’s Ground Level to the Metro Level, a complete interior common area renovation that includes new flooring, handrails, directional signage, an updated third floor restroom, energy efficient lighting, and soft seating and a redesign of the food court, including expanded seating areas and all new furnishings.
