If you love seafood, you'll love the Pensacola Seafood Festival. An assortment of fresh seafood, prepared by carefully selected food vendors, is tossed with one of Northwest Florida's largest arts and craft fairs and seasoned with live entertainment to bring you the recipe for a family-friendly day of fun in the Florida sun.
As you enjoy Pensacola's wonderful fall weather and the sounds of live bands playing in the adjacent park, stroll the arts and craft booths that will fill Downtown Pensacola's Seville Square and treat your taste buds to an array of savory seafood that will border the park.
The Taste of Pensacola will feature a Gulf to Table area where local restaurants and caterers will serve tapas size dishes of their signature recipes. You'll also find a variety of seafood vendors offering dishes, such as, grilled conch, seafood gumbo, oyster croquettes, soft shell crab, coconut shrimp, Caribbean crab cakes, bang bang shrimp, plus more than 10 other seafood choices. You just may want to try them all!
The family-friendly event not only features more than 130 arts and crafts vendors presenting their wares, but live entertainment as well in nearby Bartram Park. The line-up for the event will be announced at a date closer to the event.
Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2, fun-filled children's activities will take place in Bartram Park. Bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, inflatable human hamster balls, touch pools filled with live sea creatures, hands-on crafts, face painting and more will entertain the young ones for free from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m on Sunday.
Runners will want to get their registration in early for the popular Pensacola Seafood Don McClockey 5K Walk/Run. The Pensacola Runners Association event, will be held Saturday, October 1 and is the perfect opportunity to start off the fall running season.
Information and Directions
The Pensacola Seafood Festival is held at Seville Square in Downtown Pensacola, located at Zarrogossa and Adam Streets.
There is a park-and-ride trolley service available. Follow the signs to parking.
Admission to the Pensacola Seafood Festival is free, but admission to the Bartram Park, where the entertainment stage will be located will be $5 after 5:00 p.m.
Pensacola is located in the extreme northwest of Florida's Panhandle, just 60 miles from Mobile, Alabama. If you're traveling from the east along I-10 and have some extra time, you could exit just after crossing Escambia Bay at Exit 17 onto Highway 90 South and take in the sights along the Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway.
