Parking: Fells Point , Little Italy and Harbor East

Parking in Fells Point on New Year's Eve or during the Fells Point Fun Festival (or, really, just on any Friday or Saturday night) can be challenging.

The waterfront neighborhood of cobblestone streets, founded in the 18th century, simply wasn't designed for cars. So it’s a good thing most of Fells Points bars are all in close walking distance to one another, so you only need to park your car once.

In fact, if you plan to imbibe, you may want to call a Baltimore-area taxi company. Or another idea is to park near the Inner Harbor and take the Water Taxi to Fells Point. Find an Inner Harbor parking garage here.

Most homes in Fells Point and nearby neighborhoods like Upper Fells Point, Butchers Hill, Canton and Little Italy don't have off-street parking. So, heavily residential areas are not a good place to find street parking. If you do park on the street, do not block alleys and driveways. Some areas such as Little Italy and Fells Point have only two-hour parking for non-residents, so read the signs carefully.
