The Parada del Sol Rodeo has been going on since 1956. It is a PRCA sanctioned rodeo and consists of several sessions over a period of three days; cowboys from all over the country participate.

The Parada del Sol organization is a non-profit organization that supports various local charities that provide heath care, resources, and community programs.

When is the Parada del Sol Rodeo?

The Parada del Sol Rodeo will take place on the following schedule:
Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 7 p.m. (Scottsdale Pro Bull Riding)
Friday, March 10, 2017 at 7 p.m. (Rodeo)
Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 7 p.m. (Rodeo)
Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. (Rodeo)

Ticket booth opens at 5 p.m. on March 9 and 10.
Ticket booth opens at 11 a.m. on March 11.
Ticket booth opens at noon on March 12.

Where is it?

The Parada del Sol Rodeo is held in North Scottsdale at WestWorld. Here's a map with directions to WestWorld.

How do I get tickets and how much are they?

Reserved box seats, all ages: $45
Reserved corner seats, all ages: $25 (limited view)
General admission: $18 per person, $5 for children 12 and under

There is a charge to park at WestWorld. Bring cash.

You may purchase your tickets in advance online (extra fees will apply), or at the box office before the performances. Ticket prices may be higher at the door. Beware — these events sometimes sell out.

  • General Admission seating is metal bleachers; bring a blanket or seat pad for comfort
  • Food and beverages are available for purchase
  • Each rodeo session typically last 2 to 2-1/2 hours
  • Bring a jacket in the evening
  • On Friday and Saturday nights there may be dances or other activities
  • Ticket prices may be higher at the gate
  • If the session sells out (evening sessions have sold out in the past), standing room only tickets might be available at the box office
