Eating Outdoors in Las Vegas

Two For The Patio: Al Fresco Dining in Las Vegas

Finding the perfect patio for an outdoor meal in Las Vegas is so important for me that I often sneak around and sit in restaurants even though I’m not about to eat. A meal in the sun is not only therapeutic for me it is a necessity. It’s not that I crave the sun or need to have the perfect tan. It’s just that the warms rays on my skin just happen to give me that perfect bronze that allows me to disregard the extra 10 pounds I carry around on a daily basis. I need the fresh air when I eat.

The view is of the Las Vegas strip and when paired with beers can be a spot that you end up sitting at for longer than you thought. Watch a game and have some fried chicken at Double Barrel Las Vegas.

If there is one spot I have to take my wife in order to really be jealous of what I get to do on a daily basis it’s Bouchon. The room is airy and bright but the outdoor area is on a different level. Who cares what you eat, it will be very good, how you feel when the sun hits your skin is the reason why you choose to eat at Bouchon.

    Country Club at Wynn

Do you play golf? If you do you’ll want to start your round here. If you can’t see spending a small fortune for 18 holes have lunch at the Country Club and take in the views of the golf course from the patio. Easily, one of the nicest places to have a leisurely lunch in Las Vegas.

More restaurants at Wynn and Encore:
La Cave | Wazuzu | Lakesde Seafood | SW Steakhouse

The patio seating at Rivea is a hot ticket so this one is not as easy to get. The view is spectacular as the entire Las Vegas strip spreads out in front of you. If you don't get a patio seat head over to Skyfall the cocktail lounge adjacent to the restaurant and enjoy the view with some liquid calories.

    Estiatorio Milos at Cosmopolitan

If only the patio was larger but the menu makes up for it. I really feel like I just rented one of those white washed villas with blue tiled roofs with a view of the ocean whenever I’m eating the fresh fish at Milos

Dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio Fountains. A glass of red wine, warm break, and a kiss from some one special and you have set the scene for romance and perfect Las Vegas atmosphere.

    Olives at Bellagio

The view of the fountains, the Eiffel Tower and the Las Vegas strip is enough but the food and the wonderful staff make it even better. I like lunch at Olives for the prices and dinner for the views.

Waborita and chips and salsa. This is outdoor dining with loud music and tequila shots right on the Las Vegas strip. Don’t expect super gourmet Mexican food, instead imagine you are at your favorite cantina having a good time while having a few too many margaritas and taking in the atmosphere.

It’s embarrassing that I continue to stop in to Carlos ‘n Charlie’s because I need to let go of my eternal Spring Break attitude. However, I love ceviche and they do it up right and for a good price. The back patio is full of energy and if you are in the mood for a little party they are always willing to serve one up.

Craving Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas:
    Javiers | Tacos El Gordo | Hussong's Cantina | China Poblano |
