There are a lot of great apps and quite a few that aren't worth your download. Our favorite apps help us find a campground, download maps for traveling and suggest a new camping recipe.     Yep, this app is as simple as it sounds. The Flashlight app, turns your phone's light on, so it acts as a flashlight. This app is extremely handy when you are in a dark area and don't have a real flashlight and it also has a compass, so you can find your way in the night. The flashlight app acts as a backup to your real flashlight, which is most likely battery powered. While it doesn't shine as bright and does not replace a good headlamp, the flashlight app is free and very useful.
