Satiate your curiosity with a peek behind the doors of some of NYC's most interesting sites during the annual Open House New York (OHNY) event. Now in its 13th year, OHNY packs an October weekend (October 17–18, 2015) with behinds-the-scenes glimpses of hundreds of architectural, design-driven, and culturally significant sites that are generally closed to the public. Plus, the event features walking tours and other special programs like evening tours, kids' outings, and more.

In 2015, look for returning OHNY classics like the Ford Foundation, Grand Lodge of Masons, Jefferson Market Library, and more. Plus, check out newly featured additions for this year that include City Hall (fresh from its first major renovation in 50 years), the NYC headquarters of Google, and more.

The 2015 OHNY Weekend will also commemorate the 50th anniversary of New York’s landmarks law with scheduled visits to several Manhattan landmarks buildings, including the Cunard Building, Thurgood Marshall Courthouse, and Woolworth Building, among others.

For a sampling of some of the major highlights from OHNY events in Manhattan in 2015, check back here after October 6, when the full list of participating sties and programs will be released. All sites and tours will be listed on www.ohny.org following that date. Be sure to nab advance reservations for sites that require it; the reservation system opens up on October 7.
