Omni Homestead

The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, is one of America's great historic spas, with natural hot springs that have drawn travelers since 1766. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and 20 other U.S. presidents have been among its guests. The hot springs were first appreciated for their healing properties by Native Americans. Today the hot springs fill the resort's magnificent indoor pool, built in 1902, and the rustic Jefferson pools, located five miles north in the town of Warm Springs. It is widely considered the finest and most famous of all the spas in Virginia

The Grounds

The vast Georgian-style resort is set on 2,000 gorgeous acres in the Allegheny Mountains, with 483 guest rooms and suites. The Omni Homestead is renowned for its championship golf, family-friendly atmosphere, and a 34,000 square-foot Homestead Spa.

The Spa at The Omni Homestead is an expansive, state-of-the-art facility. A signature feature is Aqua Thermal Suite, an exclusive European-inspired oasis with experiential rains, herbal laconium, a chill room, and crystal steam room focused on the ancient concept of “healing by water” as practiced for centuries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. There are also heated loungers on the men’s and women’s side. Fed by mineral spring waters drawn from the surrounding mountains, the Aqua Thermal Suite experience aligns harmoniously with The Omni Homestead’s historic healing tradition of “taking the waters.”

Jefferson Springs

That same harmony can be experienced at the Jefferson Springs spa garden at The Omni Homestead. A year-round sanctuary for adults only, Jefferson Springs features indigenous hot springs, therapeutic geothermal mineral bath, river reflexology bed, co-ed Finnish sauna, spring-fed whirlpool, and private poolside cabanas. The refuge is accessed via walking paths warmed with radiant heat.
