One of the largest state fair park facilities in the nation, Oklahoma State Fair Park is a top attraction venue in Oklahoma City. In addition to the annual Oklahoma State Fair in early fall, the fairgrounds is host to hundreds of metro events including auto racing, horse shows, rodeos, concerts, conventions, exhibitions, classes and many more.

Location & Directions:

Oklahoma State Fair Park is located on NW 10th in Oklahoma City, between I-44 and May Avenue. Here are directions from different arrival points:

  • From I-35 Southbound (Wichita): Take I-44 west exit. Follow I-44 to NW 10th eastbound exit. Follow NW 10th to first stoplight (89er Drive) and turn right, then turn left at the 2nd stop sign.
     
  • From I-35 Northbound (Dallas): Take I-240 westbound exit. Follow I-240. It will curve around and change to I-44 eastbound. Follow I-44 to NW 10th eastbound exit. Stay right and take the State Fair Park exit ramp.
     
  • From I-40 Eastbound (Amarillo): Take I-40 east to the I-44 eastbound exit. Take the first exit, NW 10th Street eastbound/Fair Park. Stay right and take the State Fair Park exit ramp.
     
  • From I-40 Westbound (Ft. Smith): Take I-40 west to the I-44 eastbound exit. Take the first exit, NW 10th Street eastbound/Fair Park. Stay right and take the State Fair Park exit ramp.
     
  • From I-44 Westbound (Tulsa): Take I-44 west to NW 10th eastbound exit. Follow NW 10th to first stoplight (89er Drive) and turn right, then turn left at the 2nd stop sign.

Jim Norick Arena:

The State Fair Arena is located on the southwest portion of the fairgrounds and is used for a number of big events such as rodeos, sports and concerts. The arena has three levels of seating in an oval configuration with an east-positioned stage. In this typical configuration, the arena seats just under 11,000 and is therefore the 3rd largest arena in the Oklahoma City metro area behind the Chesapeake Energy Arena and the Cox Convention Center.

Other Buildings:

In addition to the arena, State Fair Park includes administrative areas, outdoor pavilions, nine barns and seven exposition buildings. Oklahoma City's MAPS 3 initiatives, passed in December of 2009, include $60 million in renovations to these buildings and the addition of the event center. State Fair Park buildings:
