Oklahoma City Ballet, formerly known as Ballet Oklahoma, performs October through April in the Civic Center Music Hall in downtown Oklahoma City. Active for more than 30 years, the Oklahoma City Ballet has brought some magical shows to the stage as well as operating a ballet school with training for people ages 4 to adult.
The Oklahoma City Ballet appointed Robert Mills Artistic Director in July of 2008.
A former Ballet Oklahoma dancer and Artistic Director of Ballet Nouveau Colorado, Mills succeeds Bryan Pitts in the post. The move was part of a "reinvention" for the renowned company filled with award-winning dancers and choreographers as they plan a fundraising campaign for the continued future of the Oklahoma City Ballet.
