NOTE: This flight took place in May of 2003. According to information on the Naked Air website, they have no plans for a future flight at this time. The article below was written in April 2003 and is presented for historical puposes.
That's right, aviation history is about to be made as Castaway Travel offers the first-ever nude flight aboard Naked Air this May. The flight will leave Miami mid-day on May 3 and return on May 10, destined for Cancun International Airport.
During the week, spend a week at El Dorado Spa and Resort for an all-adult, all-nude week of fun in the hot, hot sun.
The chartered Boeing-727 going by the moniker Naked Air can accommodate 175 people on a first-come, first-serve basis. The tickets are $499 per person, round trip, and includes US and Mexico departure taxes. Also included are a welcome packet and souvenirs for this history-making flight. Due to the media hype around this event and privacy concerns for the patrons of the flight, exact departure and arrival times will be kept undisclosed until a person has firm travel plans to be on the flight. Once the plane has reached cruising altitude, passengers are free to enjoy the rest of the flight clothes-free!
The all-inclusive, all-nude week at El Dorado Spa and Resort is a trip that can be purchased in conjunction with the flight, or you can fly in on a different flight and still enjoy the week there.
The prices include all food, bar drinks, non-motorized water sports, swimming pools, hotel taxes and tips, and other special Nude Week activities. El Dorado will, of course, be closed to other patrons for the week.
For more details, visit Castaways Travel. You don't need to spend the week at the resort to take this historic flight.
