Overview of Bars and Lounges on the Norwegian Gem
The Norwegian Gem has a wide variety of bars and lounges. Four of the lounges are grouped together at "Bar Central" on deck 6, including Shakers Martini & Cocktail Bar, Magnum's Champagne & Wine Bar, Maltings Beer & Whiskey Bar, and the Corona Cigar Club. Three of the other lounges are outdoors, with two overlooking the pool.
The cruise ship has a traditional observation lounge high up on deck 13, a Cigar Bar, Sake Bar next to the Sushi Bar, and even a Mojito Bar. There's certainly something for every different taste.
The Atrium Coffee Bar seen in the photo above is found in the busy Atrium, and it serves specialty coffees and teas, pastries, cookies, and bar drinks. It's also great for people watching!

Bliss Ultra Lounge and Night Club on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship
One of the ship's hot spots and the most distinctive bar on the Norwegian Gem is the Bliss Ultra-Lounge. The decor is soft velvets and funky furniture, which are a stark contrast to the four bowling lanes!

Maltings Beer and Whiskey Bar on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship

Shakers Martini and Cocktail Bar on the Norwegian Gem
Shakers Martini Bar has an art deco motif and a large screen with silhouetted dancers that brings back memories of an old James Bond movie introduction. Shakers is in Bar Central on deck 6. Topsiders Bar on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship
Like the Bali Hai Bar, Topsiders is near the Tahitian pool and serves bar drinks and grilled foods. Topsiders also has fish and chips, which taste very good when accompanied by a cold beer. Or, a frozen drink can be mighty tasty on a hot day by the pool.Continue to 6 of 10 below.

The Great Outdoors Bar on the Norwegian Gem

Spinnaker Lounge on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship
The Spinnaker Lounge is a traditional observation lounge by day and a dance club by night. Located high up on deck 13, the Spinnaker Lounge has great views of the ocean, a stage, and dance floor.
The starboard side of the Spinnaker Lounge has eight flat-screen televisions for watching sports, and the port side features a variety of pub games, including darts, foosball, and pool.

Bali Hai Bar and Grill on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship

Other Places to Find a Drink on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship
Mojitos are a terrific drink for a warm weather cruise, and the Norwegian Gem's Sugarcane Mojito Bar has several different types to try.
Guests love the "bubbling" bar at Magnum's Champagne and Wine Bar in bar central on deck 6. It really looks like champagne!
Many guests who like to gamble also like to drink, so the Norwegian Gem has a convenient casino bar located near the ship's casino.
The Star Bar is next to the popular Cagney's Steakhouse, matching its sophisticated decor. this bar is quiet, much like the neighboring steakhouse.
