After all, the Norwegian Cruise Line ship has 21 bars and lounges and 28 places to dine. Some of the bars are located outdoors, which is perfect for a cruise ship. With 21 drinking establishments to choose from, it might be a challenge to sample them all on a seven-day cruise. The research required when writing about new cruise ships can be challenging. In the interest of full disclosure, on the two nights I was on the Norwegian Escape, I did not have the opportunity to have a drink at all of the bars. However, the cucumber mojito in the photo above was very refreshing. The rest of this article provides photos and information on some of the bars and lounges on the Norwegian Escape. 01 of 09 Sugarcane Mojito Bar on the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Line The Sugarcane Mojito Bar is next to the Bayamo Restaurant on deck 8. Given its name, it is not surprising that the bar specializes in mojitos and rum-based cocktails. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, along with several tempting drink selections on the menu. Those who think there is only one kind of Mojito will be very pleasantly surprised by this Mojito Bar. Continue to 2 of 9 below. 02 of 09 The District Brew House on the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Line Beer lovers will certainly enjoy sampling some of the many varieties of beer at the District Brew House on the Norwegian Escape cruise ship. This urban craft beer hall is the result of a partnership between Norwegian Cruise Line and the Wynwood Brewing Company of Miami. The District Brew House has a keg room, 24 draft beers on tap, and more than 50 bottled beers. With 74 different types of beer, guests can sample several each day without having to repeat. Continue to 4 of 9 below. 04 of 09 The Cellars Wine Bar on the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Line The Cellars Wine Bar is a great place to drink wine, but it's also excellent for tasting and learning more about wine. Guests can enjoy small plates of a la carte food and tapas to go along with their wine tasting. The tasting room is indoors, but the bar has an outdoor section, too. Many of the bars have outdoor seating, which is a real plus when the weather is perfect. Continue to 5 of 9 below. 05 of 09 Tobacco Road on the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Line Tobacco Road is a new bar for the Norwegian Escape, but Miami residents will recognize the name as one of the oldest bars in Miami. The decor of Tobacco Road includes elements of the original bar like its neon sign, memorabilia, and photographs showcasing the history of the Miami bar. Guess it's not surprising that the bar top has built-in poker video games! The walls of the Skyline Bar are lined with huge digital screens that set the mood of the bar. Nice, and comfortable seating, too. Continue to 7 of 9 below. 07 of 09 Headliners Lounge on the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Line The first Headliners Comedy Club on a Norwegian Cruise Line was on the Norwegian Getaway, and the show continued on the Norwegian Breakaway. Now, the Norwegian Escape features this fun club. Norwegian Cruise Line partners with Levity Entertainment for its live comedy performers and all seem to be a big hit. This is another bar that has both indoor and outdoor seating. The 5 o'clock Somewhere Bar really gets busy at night when the live music starts. It's found on deck 8. Continue to 9 of 9 below. 09 of 09 MIxx Bar on the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Line Mixx Bar is located on deck 6 midship in the area between the Savor and Taste Restaurants on the Norwegian Escape.
