Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship Mandara Spa
The Mandara Spa on the Norwegian Escape cruise ship is found forward on deck 16, with expansive views of the sea. The spa includes all the standard treatments, a hydro-therapy pool, whirlpools, steam room, dry sauna, sanarium (combination sauna and steam room), salt room, and snow room.
A salt room is a relatively new feature for cruise ship spas, and guests sit in a cave-like room covered with salt. Breathing in the microscopic salt crystals is said to help many conditions, ranging from asthma to psoriasis.
The Norwegian Escape is the first Norwegian Cruise Line ship to have a snow room. After heating up in the sauna or other "hot" space, guests can step into the snow room, which ranges from 21 degrees to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Snow accumulates throughout the day in the icy space. Some might find it rejuvenating; others will pass.
No matter which treatment guests might choose, relaxing in one of the thermal suite loungers should rejuvenate them.Continue to 5 of 10 below.

"Million Dollar Quartet" is a musical based on the famed recording session that brought together four icons of rock and roll for one night only.
