It's easy to find a party in Las Vegas any night of the year, so rest assured you will have no problem finding somewhere to ring in the New Year with music, drinks, and dancing. Vegas goes big for New Year's not only with multiple fireworks shows set off simultaneously by the big casinos on the strip, but also with its headlining acts. The big stars get paid big bucks for their New Year's Eve performances in Las Vegas and on December 31 you can say goodbye to the year with a Vegas-style bang.

Of course, if you're not up for a wild all-night party, you could always head to the Strip to be a part of the crowd when the fireworks start at midnight.

Stratosphere Skyline Spectacular

Want to watch the fireworks, but don't want to wait in the cold? Head to the 108th floor of the Stratosphere for their Skyline Spectacular, where you'll be able to see the show from their observation deck 800 feet above street level. This three-hour party includes an open bar, a live DJ, and food stations serving up grub from world-class chefs. The dress code is "Dress to Impress," so go all out with your New Year's Eve outfit.

New Year's Eve at Sparrow + Wolf

The restaurant Sparrow + Wolf has two great events going on the night of December 31 to ring in the new year. First, attend their Champagne and Caviar Dinner starting for an early celebration that features a tasting of five different kinds of champagne and five different kinds of caviar. Then, if you want to party till midnight, don't miss the Forever Young 80's Prom starting at 11 p.m. There will be a "bodacious" band, a "tubular" champagne toast, and a costume contest—so don't forget your shoulder pads!

The Cosmopolitan

The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan often throws a massive party featuring a headlining guest, with big names like Lizzo from previous years. But that's not at all the resort has in store for the big day. There is also the annual viewing celebration at the ice rink, which includes an open bar and live DJ and hotel guests can access the pool deck to see the fireworks from up there. Separate parties will also be going on at the CliQue Bar, the Marquee Nightclub, and the hotel's speakeasy, known as the Barbershop. You can also check out the prix-fixe menus at one of the hotel's eight restaurants for their special New Year's Eve menus.

Cabo Wabo Cantina

Cabo Wabo welcomes the new year with an unforgettable Strip-side patio party, complete with unobstructed views of Las Vegas’ New Year’s Eve fireworks display. The LOFT, the cantina’s posh upstairs event space, is also available for reservation for groups seeking a private party with a view of the Strip.

Hakkasan

See some of the biggest DJs in the world performing at the mega-club Hakkasan. At this Vegas dance club, the ceiling is literally dancing along to the music, creating a moving ceiling effect that can't be found in any other club in Las Vegas. If you haven't seen the Hakkasan Grid in action before—as the ceiling is called—your mind is guaranteed to be blown on New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve Celebration at Commonwealth

The bar Commonwealth will kick off the New Year Eve celebration with a hosted open bar including well drinks and draft beers starting at 7 p.m. The main room and rooftop will rock out to end-of-the-year party tunes with hit jams from Vegas’ own local DJs.
