New Year's Eve at CITYCENTRE

Stroll around CITYCENTRE to hop from one party to another at the area's many bars and restaurants. Live bands will be playing throughout the night, and come midnight, there will be an epic confetti drop.

The event goes from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Free Party at Sugar Land Town Square

This party includes both a children's celebration from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. as well as an adult celebration that runs until 1 a.m. Look forward to stilt birds, light shows and a 3D sugar cube drop at midnight. Very cool.

New Year's Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise

Make this new year an unforgettable one aboard Clear Lake' s own FantaSea yacht. The $159.99 per person price tag affords you a gourmet meal, appetizers and plenty of music, as well as tiaras, champagne toasts and — of course — party favors. Boarding is from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the cruise goes until 12:30 a.m. Discounts are available for those in the military and adults aged 55 and older.

Bring the whole family out to Kemah for music, fireworks and activities for the whole family. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.

New Year's Eve Celebration at The Houstonian

The Houstonian Hotel has an extravagant bash with gourmet food, live music, and a casino lounge.

Ticket packages start at $300 per couple. If you're willing to splurge, the top-of-the-line Diamond Package ($750 per couple) includes dinner, wine, entrance to the parties and casino room, accommodations and brunch the next day. Not a bad way to ring in the new year.

The H-town Countdown

One of the largest gatherings in the city, the H-town Countdown at the Silver Street Studio has a full line up of some of the area's best local bands performing live all night. The event is all-inclusive, and tickets will not only get you access to the concerts, but also an open bar, midnight champagne toast and balloon drop. Tickets are $125.
