From big-bash parties to laid-back live concerts, the St. Louis area has something for everyone on New Year's Eve. The Missouri city has plenty to keep you celebrating and ringing in the New Year. You can also make restaurant reservations over the holiday or bring the kids to a family-friendly event.
The Hyatt Regency at the Arch invites you to the Ultimate New Year's Eve Party. The celebration includes music from The Number One Party Band (comprised of Nashville's top musicians); expect to hear a mix of Motown and R&B as well as 80s classics and today's hits. There's also an open bar, full dinner buffet in the Grand Ballroom (from 8-10 p.m.), balloon drop, and champagne toast at midnight. For New Year's 2019, prices are $169 for the party only or $379 per couple including a one-night stay at the hotel. The event will occur on December 31, 2018 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Ballpark Village in downtown St. Louis is the place for NYE Live! Party-goers. They can mingle among the many bars and restaurants in the Village. There will be live music, inclusive drink packages, and party favors from 8 p.m. to midnight. General admission tickets start at $75. Platinum access tickets (which include a food buffet) start at $110.
For New Years Eve 2019 Ballpark Village will host four special celebrity guests from the cast of Vanderpump Rules! as well as St. Louis' own Tom Sandoval and crew Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney.
The radio personalities from The Rizzuto Show on 105.7 The Point are once again hosting a New Year's bash at the Sheraton Westport Chalet at Westport Plaza. The party includes music, an open bar, appetizer buffet, champagne toast at midnight, a photo booth, prize giveaways, a Rizzuto Show pillow case, and more. Tickets are $126 a person. Hotel packages start at $382 per couple.
In 2019, the party theme is "Pajama Jammy Jam" and adults are encouraged to wear their pjs and onesies. There will be tunes by DJ Patrico and a live performance from Moon & The Teenage Dirtbags.
St. Louis' newest live music venue is celebrating New Year's with a concert from local favorite Yonder Mountain String Band, along with special guests Old Salt Union. The doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the music starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $69.50 in advance and $70 at the door.
The popular New Year's Eve Ball returns to the Airport Marriott for its 10th year. The hotel's Grand Ballroom and Grand Pavilion will be transformed for an evening of dinner (a three-course meal), open bar drinks, and live music from Contagious and Boyfriend.
Tickets for the party only are $100 a person. Tickets for dinner and the party are $149, and an overnight package at the hotel is $349 a couple. The event starts at 7 p.m. with dinner around 9 p.m. and celebrations into the early morning.
Celebrate New Year's at one of the top Irish pubs in the country. McGurk's in Soulard is hosting a party with plenty of Irish music from Kevin Buckley and Ian Walsh. The heated patio will be open with a garden bonfire starting at 9 p.m.
The Trainwreck Saloon at Westport Plaza is having a New Year's Eve celebration with food, drinks, and live music. Bitter Pill will take the stage starting at 9 p.m.
If you're looking to laugh on New Year's Eve, head to the Funny Bone at Westport Plaza. It's one of the St. Louis area's top comedy clubs, bringing in popular comedians from around the country. Comedian James Johann will be entertaining the crowd on NYE. Shows are at 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 to $40.

The owners of Casa Loma Ballroom sure know how to throw a party. For NYE 2019, the ball will feature top burlesque and variety acts from around the country, an orchestra, a swing dance floor, midnight buffet, and sultry surprises at the Rue de Risque, a vintage hooch tent and sideshow spectacle. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the entertainment continues until 2:30 a.m.
The New Year's celebration at the Broadway Oyster Bar in downtown St. Louis features Cajun food and live music. The Funky Butt Brass Band will play from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Admission is $15. The restaurant is also taking reservations for dinner earlier in the evening. The menu includes seafood-focused dishes such as Alaskan King Crab, bronzed yellow-edge grouper, split grilled lobster, and smoked shrimp and grits.
Ring in the New Year with Flatliner at the Best Western Premier in Alton. The evening includes an open bar, appetizer buffet (from 10-11 p.m.) live entertainment, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 8 p.m. and Flatliner plays between 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Enjoy an elegant New Year's Eve at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Clayton. There will be two events at the hotel: a special dinner in The Grill followed by a party in the Lobby Lounge. The fancy five-course New Year's Eve dinner runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It costs $149 for adults (including a champagne toast, of course). Menu highlights include lamb naan, drawn lobster tail, and strip steak au poivre.
The party in the Lobby Lounge goes from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. There will be gourmet food, martinis, and live music. There is no cover charge, but limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
New Year's Eve at the Lemp Mansion's Grand Hall is an evening of food, drinks, and live entertainment. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. It includes dinner, open bar, live music and midnight toast. The cost is $75 a person.
The Lemp Mansion is also hosting a Comedy-Mystery Dinner Theater (the theme is "Harm for the Holidays") at 7 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Guests will enjoy an evening of food and entertainment, along with party hats, favors, and champagne. The cost is $62.95 a person.
What will the St. Louis Symphony be playing at its annual New Year's Eve concert? You'll have to go to find out. The program for the evening is always a secret, but former conductor Ward Stare promises a memorable evening at Powell Hall. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 to $125.
