Summer Music in Albuquerque and Santa Fe

Kansas City and New Orleans have bragging rights to jazz, but New Mexico has a crown jewel or two of its own. The New Mexico Jazz Festival heats up Albuquerque and Santa Fe for the last two weeks of July, hosting jazz musicians that help keep the sizzle in summer. For 2016, the festival runs July 14 - 31.

The New Mexico Jazz Festival is a collaboration of the Outpost Performance Space, the Lensic Theater in Santa Fe, and the Santa Fe Jazz Foundation.

The festival features local performers as well as jazz masters and well known artists from around the world.

Albuquerque venues take place at the Outpost Performance Space, the Hiland Theater, and at Nob Hill Summerfest. In Santa Fe, catch the acts at the Lensic Performing Arts Center or Santa Fe Plaza.

Tickets can be purchased at the Outpost or Lensic box offices, or online.
