Enjoy Free Music Along the Potomac River

Free concerts are held throughout the summer along the Plaza at National Harbor, the waterfront development located along the Potomac River in Prince George's County, Maryland just minutes from downtown Washington, DC. National Harbor is a fun place to visit and the concerts are family-friendly.

Military Sunset Concert Series

Visitors and local residents enjoy free outdoor musical performances by bands from the nation’s Armed Forces, on Saturday nights from 7 to 8 pm. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the concert, or dine al fresco at waterfront restaurants like Rosa Mexicano, Redstone American Grill, McLoone’s Pier House and more. The world-class performances by bands from the nation’s Armed Forces -- Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines feature a range of genres including jazz, standards, rhythm & blues, classic rock, adult contemporary, pop, country and bluegrass, as well as patriotic favorites and original material.

Getting to National Harbor

National Harbor is accessible from I-95/I-495, I-295, the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and by water taxi from Washington, DC, Old Town Alexandria, Mount Vernon, and Georgetown. Parking: National Harbor has three public parking garages with convenient Pay-on-Foot machines. Rates begin at $2 for the first hour and reach a daily maximum of $10.

  • Fleet Garage: Entrance located on Fleet Street
  • Mariner Garage: Entrance located on Mariner Passage
  • St. George Garage: Entrance located on St. George Blvd
