ACRE blends upscale dining with a cozy and intimate atmosphere, resulting in an eating experience that is romantic and elegant. Although the menu changes with the seasons, some things to look for are the braised veal breast, the mushroom Maltagliati, and the foie gras terrine. You can also enjoy an intimate meal on the picturesque patio.

From the velvet curtains to the fresh roses on each table, this is arguably one of the fanciest and certainly the most formal romantic restaurant in Memphis. The French-Asian cuisine is unique enough to be special but familiar enough for our Americanized palettes. While the entrees are fantastic, be sure to leave enough room in your stomach and your wallet for Chez Philippe's to-die-for desserts.

Erling Jensen is considered by some to be the finest restaurant in town. It offers a romantic atmosphere with smooth music and elegant, yet unassuming decor. The menu offers a nice variety of selections like grilled bison, roasted monkfish, and rack of lamb. For a romantic finish, share the chocolate soufflé with your sweetheart.

This fine-dining steakhouse is voted best steakhouse in Memphis time and time again. If you're not in the mood for steak, though, Folk's Folly offers a nice selection of seafood, chicken, pork, and lamb. Expect a classic steakhouse environment with mood lighting, white tablecloths, sides served a la carte and impeccable service.

Dim lighting and soft piano music make Paulette's an undeniably romantic restaurant, plus its location in Harbor Town only add to the atmosphere. While the house specialty is the filet mignon, I also recommend the Louisiana crab cakes. And if you don't want to splurge on dinner, Paulette's has one of the best brunch menus in town.

Pick from pre-selected themed flights of wine, salads, entrees, and desserts or mix and match to create an unforgettable meal in a candlelight upscale environment.
