Westfield Montgomery, commonly known as Montgomery Mall, in Bethesda, Maryland has more than 190 stores offering everything from women and men’s fashion, children’s fashion and toys, jewelry, housewares, accessories, electronics, music, and more. This shopping destination includes the anchor stores Macy’s, Nordstroms, and Sears.

Montgomery Mall Renovations

Montgomery Mall has undergone an $89 million revitalization project in 2014 which boasts a complete transformation of the 1.2 million square foot shopping center. The upgrades include the addition of a sophisticated new dining terrace, full-service restaurants and the first East Coast location of ArcLight Cinemas -- a state-of-the-art 16-screen, 2,400 seat luxury theatre experience. The theatre complex is located adjacent to the new dining terrace.

Dining Experiences

Dining Terrace - The food court has been transformed into a ‘dining terrace’ with a clean and modern design using natural building materials to create a casual but elegant bistro-style environment. The redesigned space features stylish furnishings and upgraded amenities, including the addition of family lounges.

The renovations brought along new restaurants, including:

CRAVE featuring an eclectic American menu and a full sushi bar in a chic yet casual atmosphere.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, a company that operates more than 1,600 restaurants worldwide offering a menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads, made from fresh, high-quality raw ingredients, prepared using classic cooking methods and served in a distinctive atmosphere.

The mall also features other favorite dining options, including The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, and Corner Bakery Cafe.

ArcLight Cinemas

The new 16-screen movie theater earns the distinction as the only cinema on the East Coast to operate with no commercials, all-reserved seating and no late seating after a movie has begun. Programming will include Hollywood blockbusters, art-house fare, film exhibits and cult classics. Signature amenities include "black box" auditoriums, extra-wide seats with double armrests, stadium seating, digital projection and full-service concession areas. Each theatre is designed with a designated auditorium and adjacent lounge where movie-goers (ages 21 and up) may enjoy wine, beer and cocktails during select screenings. For movie schedules, visit their website.
