A listing of local Tennessee County Fairs held in Nashville and the Middle Tennessee Area. These annual Tennessee County Fairs normally kick off at the beginning of August and run through Mid-September every year and offer almost a month’s worth of good ole family fun.
Tennessee State Fair has been entertaining local folk for decades. This event is held at the Nashville Fairgrounds in the first part of September. A huge variety of exhibits plus midway rides, animal and variety shows, live stage presentations and more.
Features fun for the entire family including children's activities, entertainment, music, rides, agricultural exhibits, animals, and a wide variety of food and attractions. Held annually at the Cheatham County Fair Grounds.

Dickson County Fair offers entertainment, exhibits, food, crafts, livestock shows, and more. This county fair is normally held at the Dickson County Fairgrounds.
Maury County Fair offers loads of family entertainment from carnival rides, races, pageants, and music to food, arts, crafts, and more. This county fair is normally held at the Maury County Park.
The Montgomery County Fair, also known as the North Tennessee State Fair is hosted by the local Jaycees and features agricultural exhibits, contests, cook-offs, competitions and pageants, motor sports competitions, carnival rides, artisans, crafts and more.
Robertson County Fair
The fair begins with an old fashion parade that travels through the main section of Springfield, Tennessee. Come to the parade and see local celebrities, local bands, community floats and classic cars. This county fair is normally held at the Robertson County Fair Grounds.
The Sumner County Fair features old fashioned county fair with blue ribbon contests for homemade goodies, crafts, livestock, mule & walking horse show, and carnival rides. The Sumner County Fair is normally held at the Sumner County Fairgrounds.
In August, the sweet smell of cotton candy, popcorn and fried dough, the sounds of carnival music, hucksters and laughter, the sights of a Ferris wheel on the horizon, farm animals carefully groomed and blue ribbons proudly on display will await children of all ages at the Williamson County Fair. This county fair is held at the Williamson County Agricultural Expo Park.
As Tennessee's largest fair, the Wilson County Fair, features rides and games, exhibits, delicious food, contests, Demolition Derby, Tractor and Truck pulls, lawn mower racing and various fun events located at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon.
