Dolphin Mall, located just west of Miami International Airport, is one of the most popular places to shop in the region. It has more than 200 retail outlets and name-brand discount stores, such as Bloomingdales, Gap, Coach, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Polo, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Tommy Hilfiger.
There is also a movie theater and many restaurants on-site. When hunger strikes, dig into some sushi at Kona Grill, hardy pasta at Brio Tuscan Grille, Argentinean meals at Milanezza, and American classics alongside a family-friendly arcade at Dave & Buster's.
Foodies will want to check out the year-round Sunday farmers' market, where 25 local purveyors come out to sell fresh produce, baked goods, colorful flowers, handmade crafts, and more.

Famous for its factory outlet stores, Sawgrass Mills Mall offers great bargains and outstanding dining opportunities (including a Wolfgang Puck Cafe). It is located in Broward County about 30 minutes north of Miami. Outlets include Tommy Bahama’s, Armani, Beall’s, Burberry, JCPenney, Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, and Kenneth Cole.
When you're done with retail therapy, fill up on Italy's answer to ice cream at Bertoni Gelato Caffe, grab a pretzel at Auntie Anne's, or opt for something a little more upscale at Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar.

Don't be fooled: Vero Beach is more than two hours away from Miami. If you’re willing to drive the 140 miles north to Vero Beach, you can spend the day flexing plastic at the Vero Beach Fashion Outlets. This outdoor location features outlet stores from Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, and Gymboree, to Jones New York, Nine West, and Reebok.

Roughly 45 minutes south of Miami, this center (formerly known as Prime Outlets Florida City) is easily accessible to Miami residents. It is located at the end of Florida’s Turnpike, where it meets with U.S. 1. Sears Outlet Stores
If you’re looking for appliances, tools, hardware, or other merchandise, you may want to check out the Sears Outlet Stores in Medley/Hialeah, about 25 minutes west of downtown Miami. There were two other Sears outlets in the greater Miami area, but they have since closed.
