Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Mariah Rigg is a writer and educator with an MFA from the University of Oregon. 

Experience

Mariah's work can be found in Oxford American, The Cincinnati Review, and elsewhere. She is a fiction editor at the literary magazine TriQuarterly and the nonfiction editor at Grist: A Journal of the Arts.

Education

Mariah is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English and creative writing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research includes queer archives and the situation and depiction of the Pacific in popular culture.
