New York City

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is the collective name of three waterfalls that straddle the border between New York State in the US and Ontario in Canada. To add to the confusion, it is also the name of both cities on either side of the border.

Niagara Falls, Ontario, on the Canadian side, is more touristy and Americans will need passports in order to visit.

Finger Lakes

The Finger Lakes are a group of 11 long, narrow lakes in Central New York. It is a popular summer destination for its abundance of lake recreation and collection of wineries.
