Awaiting updated information for 2017 celebration, but below are details from previous years.

Beginning at approximately 9:20 p.m., Macy's will have fireworks being released from the Brooklyn Bridge and three barges in the lower East River. It's the 39th Annual Macy's Fireworks display.

The music can be heard on 1010 WINS. The night's line-up will include“TODAY” show co-hosts Willie Geist and Tamron Hall, and will feature performances from the United States Air Force Band, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, Flo Rida and Meghan Trainor. If you're not in the area, NBC will broadcast the fireworks live beginning at 9 p.m. EST.

Want a preview of the music? Free downloads of "America" sung by Gloria Estefan and NYC school children, CeCe Winans singing “My Country ‘tis of Thee,” and Rodney Atkins performing “America the Beautiful” will be available online from July 1-4, 2015.

Where Can You Best View The Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks?
Fireworks will be launched from two points along the East River -- from a double barge below the Brooklyn Bridge and four barges in the East River between 23rd and 37th Streets. The best places to see the fireworks will be from closed off portions of FDR Drive on Manhattan's East Side.

You can also view the Macy's Fourth of July fireworks from anywhere you have an unobstructed view of the sky above the East River. See the Fourth of July Fireworks Map for details on viewing access and the best spots for seeing them live!
