Check out My Los Angeles Shopping Guide 12 of 12 Gadgets to Help Visitors Enjoy the LA Experience More Photo courtesy of Etymotic Many Los Angeles shows, theme parks and other adventures are excessively loud - more so than the same activities in other parts of the country. So quality ear plugs for adults and earplugs or ear muffs for kids can dramatically improve an otherwise painful experience. If you just need to mute the sound a little, Ear Peace earplugs do a great job for adults, while preserving sound quality. Etymotic's ER-20xs earplugs offer even more protection and can improve a typical LA theatre or Disneyland experience, but may not be strong enough for some live music venues. They also come in an extra small size that allows kids to better enjoy experiences that are otherwise uncomfortably loud. When even the Etymotics aren't enough, my fallbacks are the Howard Leight Laser Lite Foam Earplugs. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know! Share Pin Email Tell us why!
