Nashville has always been a town where people walked around looking good, with their own sense of style. We're not LA or NYC, we're Music City, and people make that their own: You'll see studded cowboy boots with a ballgown red carpet.

As the city's street cred has increased, so, too, has its SQ (that's style IQ). After all, TV shows and music videos, plus red-carpet award shows, are filmed here all the time.

We asked the most stylish people we know in Music City where they like to go and what they like in Nashville. These tips--consider this the perfect guide for backgrounds for your Instagram photos—come from Stylist on Call Nashville. These are the on-demand (and in-demand) pros who will come to your house or hotel room or Airbnb and make you look red carpet-ready for whatever event you've got going on.
