London Accommodation for Large Groups

Where to Stay for a Girls Night Out in London

Whether you're planning a family celebration or a girl's weekend away in London it can be hard to find accommodation where you can all stay together. You could book multiple hotel rooms but you may end up on different floors and not spend as much time together as you had hoped. I asked HouseTrip, Europe's largest website offering holiday apartments, to recommend London properties on their books that could cater for large groups and they had plenty of suggestions across all areas of London.

These properties have lots of bedrooms and lots of social space for being with your friends too. Staying at any of these would be a much more relaxed option than a hotel with no set times for meals and the freedom to feel at home. It can also work out to be better value to stay together and share the costs. (All prices correct in 2012.)

If you are planning a special night out, you may like to consider hiring a Barman to come to the property and make your cocktails while you get ready, and mo...MOREbile beauty therapists can visit and make you feel truly special. Once you are ready to go out for the night, who not book a stylish car to whisk you away for your big night. And of course to bring you back again.

I've actually been to this Hampstead property and can confirm it felt like a really stylish home in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Friends stayed here and I visited and had a good look around. The property is spread over three floors and has four bedrooms and the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi. Another bedroom has a shower/steam room and there's a separate bathroom too. There's a large living room on the first floor with a sofa bed and a single fold-out bed, then the ground floor has the kitchen and dining area plus another lounge area.

Another Hampstead area property, this one may look like the set for a fashion magazine shoot but instead, you can stay here and make it yours. There are two bedrooms and one has an en-suite bathroom. There is a separate bathroom too. It's all really modern and, of course, includes wifi and cable TV. This apartment is not far from the one above so if you need accommodation for more than 10 people this would make an excellent additional choice.

The exposed brickwork and large windows hint at its former industrial life yet now there's even a garden and terrace for Sunday morning relaxing. The perfect location for exploring trendy Hoxton and Shoreditch, browsing at Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane Market, and hanging out with good friends.

This west London apartment is great for families. It's spread over three floors in the upper half of an elegant townhouse close to Portobello Road Market. There are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, plus additional futons so this is great for large groups but do be aware there are a lot of stairs. The flat is wonderfully light as it's on a south-facing corner and is an ideal spot for celeb-spotting - David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, lives just three streets away.
