Turning Stone Casino Resort has become a major attraction in New York State, attracting couples who appreciate live entertainment, a top-rated spa, and good restaurants in addition to gambling. Its success has led to a variety of hotel and lodging options on site as well as several affordable accommodations within a short driving distance. So there truly is something for every taste and budget.

On-Site Accommodations at Turning Stone Casino Resort

Turning Stone offers overnight guests four hotel lodging choices:

  1. A hotel that's an elevator ride away from the casino
  2. A tower hotel, where views stretch for miles
  3. An upscale lodge, where the emphasis is on privacy and service
  4. A small inn, affordably priced

CLOSEST TO THE CASINO: The Hotel at Turning Stone
With 268 rooms, the Hotel at Turning Stone is the third-largest in central New York. The registration desk is immediately to the right of the main casino entrance, and special hotel amenities include Jacuzzis, patios, outdoor terraces, and indoor balconies overlooking the atrium. The hotel features a variety of different suites including a honeymoon suite furnished with a king-size bed, heart-shaped whirlpool, and romantic lighting.

NEWEST & TALLEST HOTEL: Tower Hotel at Turning Stone
The Tower Hotel at Turning Stone is the tallest building between Albany and Syracuse. This hotel stands 19 stories tall and holds 287 guest rooms. Included in that number are seven luxury VIP suites and 14 others with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

An entire hotel floor is devoted to fitness and includes a 65-foot swimming pool. Since winter weather in this part of New York can be cold and snowy, the 2,400-car parking garage that connects to the Tower Hotel is a welcome convenience. Turning Stone's elegant steakhouse restaurant is on a top floor of the Tower.

TOP-OF-THE-LINE HOTEL: The Lodge at Turning Stone Resort
Luxury awaits you at this Adirondack-style lodge. Spacious suites feature wide-screen TVs, remote-control fireplaces, wide teak decks (a few with private outdoor hot tubs). It's particularly appealing to golfers, spa lovers and those who want to dine at Wildflowers, the top restaurant at Turning Stone.

AFFORDABLE CHOICE: The Inn at Turning Stone Resort Casino
Located two miles from the resort, the 59-room Inn makes a visit on a budget possible (unless you blow your wad on gambling). Daily breakfast is included. Although the Inn has a slot parlor for guests, those who prefer table games and more slots can hop the free shuttle that runs to the casino.

Off-Site Accommodations Near Turning Stone Casino Resort

It's certainly more convenient to stay at the resort if you want to access the casino, spa, restaurants and the attractions at Exit 33. Yet it's not imperative. Budget-conscious couples can save on lodging by staying at any of these two-star properties, all of which are within a few miles of the casino resort. Don't expect elegant decor or fine cuisine, but do expect a clean room and a freshly made bed.
