Lindsey Zimmerman

Lindsey Zimmerman is a freelance content writer and public relations professional based in Córdoba, Spain.  She moved to Spain for a one-year stint as an English-language assistant at a local public school but then decided to make the country her permanent home.  Her work has also appeared on Spanish Sabores, the Huffington Post, and College Tourist.

Experience

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Lindsey traded the typical suburbs and unpredictable weather of the midwestern US for the sun and fun of southern Spain.

Based in Córdoba, Lindsey Zimmerman is a freelance content writer and public relations professional. She uses her knowledge and expertise of her adopted hometown—as well as of Spain as a whole—to show off the country's rich history, passionate culture, and delectable gastronomy.

Lindsey's love affair with Europe started on a study abroad experience in Germany. Determined to move back someday but also keen to use her Spanish skills, Spain seemed to be the most obvious choice. She has since established herself as an expert on the country she now calls home, creating content regularly for award-winning food tour company Devour Tours. Her work has also appeared on Spanish Sabores, the Huffington Post, and College Tourist, and she serves as a consultant for travelers looking to learn more about Spain and what it has to offer.

Education

Lindsey has a bachelor's degree in public relations from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She also minored in Spanish.
