    We polled more than 1,600 readers, asking them to rate Limantour Beach as a nude beach. 42% rated it excellent, 14% said it was good but with a few flaws.

    Just north of Olema on CA 1
    Turn left onto Bear Valley Road toward Point Reyes National SeashoreFollow Bear Valley Road 1.25 miles (2 km) northwest to Limantour RoadDrive about 11 miles to the end of the road


    Parking is obvious. Lock up and take your valuables with you. In summer, the lot may fill up. There's another about 1/2 mile away.

    Walk down the path to the beach, then turn right (north) and walk along the beach to the sand dunes
