LAX FlyAway buses provide point to point shuttle service on buses designed to carry passengers with luggage between Los Angeles International Airport and six Los Angeles locations for a fixed fee. LAX service picks up at the scheduled time at Terminal 1 and then stops at the other 6 terminals before leaving the airport.
For visitors to Downtown Los Angeles or Pasadena, the Union Station FlyAway will get you to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. From there you can catch the Metro Gold Line to Pasadena or catch a quick cab to Downtown hotels. The Union Station FlyAway runs every 30 minutes and takes about 45 minutes point to point. At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans" signs. Each bus is marked with its service location. Returning to LAX, passengers are dropped at each departure terminal. At Union Station, the FlyAway bus stop is on the Bus Plaza off of Vignes, at the back of the terminal.
The Hollywood FlyAway Stop is on the south side of Hollywood Boulevard, just east of Argyle Avenue, which is one block east of Vine, near the Red Line Metro stop, the W Hotel, and Redbury Hotel. There is no overnight parking for this stop. For dropping off, there are metered street spaces and nearby lots. Shuttles leave hourly at quarter past the hour at the Hollywood stop and at LAX Terminal 1 beginning at 5:15 am. Allow additional time for pick up at the other 6 LAX terminals.
The Santa Monica FlyAway stop is in front of the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium at 1875 Main Street. There is no designated overnight parking. There are curbside meters or Auditorium parking for drop off. Buses depart Santa Monica and LAX at quarter to the hour, starting at 5:45 am.
The Van Nuys FlyAway provides service between the Van Nuys Airport and LAX. It picks up in the same location at LAX as the Union Station FlyAway. At the Van Nuys Airport, the FlyAway Terminal is between the Long and Short Term parking lots, 7610 Woodley Avenue, Van Nuys. FlyAway Service to Van Nuys runs 24 hours, with buses scheduled every 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on time of day. Check the website for the exact schedule. The trip takes 35 to 60 minutes point to point depending on traffic.
FlyAway service is provided between LAX and UCLA Parking Structure 32 on the north side of Kinross Avenue, one block west of Gayley Avenue in Westwood. There is no overnight parking at this location during the week.
The most recent addition, the Long Beach FlyAway takes passengers to and from the Long Beach Transit Center at the corner of Long Beach Blvd and 1st Street where the Metro Blue Line and various bus lines meet. It is just a couple blocks from the Long Beach Convention Center and Downtown Long Beach hotels. Estimated travel time is 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses begin services at both ends at 5:30 am and run hourly from Long Beach until 9:30 pm and from LAX until 10:30 pm.
