What Is On Your Las Vegas Bucket List?

How Many Bucket List Items Can You Check Off?

The bucket list might be an over used term but realistically we all have those spots that we have to get to. Plenty of people share them with me all the time when it comes to Las Vegas and while I usually hear about the Grand Canyon, helicopter tours of the Las Vegas strip and the erupting volcano in front of the Mirage there are so many more things that can be considered a must when on vacation.

These are my suggestions for an epic Las Vegas bucket list.

••• The View From A Terrace Suite At Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

Prepare yourself because you might not leave the room once the sun sets. Look up the Las Vegas strip as the fountains of Bellagio dance at your feet and the skyline comes alive with dazzling lights. This is an occasion for some sparkling wine and a toast with someone very special. You'll need to book a room at Cosmopolitan Hotel to experience the terraces but you'll be glad you did once you see the view.

    Joel Robuchon At MGM Grand

This is not a meal, it is an experience. This will be a meal you will never forget and if you ever wanted to see how the other 1 percent live you will get a great view into another world. This is fine dining but you might find that it is as casual as you want it to be. The staff treats you like royalty and you can bet that no matter the type of experience that you seek they will be very accommodating.

Sure they have a lazy river and plenty of shallow spots that feel like billabongs but what you'll be excited about are the sandy beach areas and the crashing waves. Grab a cocktail and some SPF 50 and you'll be set for an afternoon of sun worshiping.

The Mob Museum Downtown Las Vegas

This collection of artifacts and exhibits is a must for anyone that is a fan of Las Vegas history however, you don't have to be a history buff to become enthralled with the lives of the major players in organized crime in America. This is the spot that you didn't know you would like as much as you will.

It's an icon and if you are in Las Vegas you have to walk through the casino and feel the Las Vegas history all around you. Take a walk over to the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace or take a look at the Garden of the Gods pool complex and you will realize just how big this mega-resort is.

You'll have to see one Cirque du Soleil show but that one show will most likely make you want to see at least two more. The Beatles Love and Michael Jackson's ONE will blow you away but so will Mystere and "O" and if you like to get frisky, Zumanity is your best bet.

    The Neon Museum

The signs that once stood proudly around the city now sit in a neon boneyard. It is a must-see for those of you who love to take a good photograph.

The nightclub, lounge, restaurant and bar that will keep you dancing, mingling, and socializing all night long. This is Las Vegas nightlife unlike anything you have experienced before.

    Bellagio Las Vegas

Where do you start? The restaurants? The Gallery of Fine Art? The Fountains? The nightlife? Too many choices. You must see Bellagio Las Vegas and frankly, you owe it to yourself to stay in this elegant hotel at least once!

Dinner With A View at Stratosphere Tower Las Vegas

The food at Top of The World Restaurant at Stratosphere Las Vegas will probably overshadow the view but that is just saying plenty about the meal. This view of all of Las Vegas cannot be beat and if there is one spot I need to go for romance this is it.

    ••• The Grand Canyon.

Before you remind that Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon are in two separate spots let me assure you that I did well in geography. The reason why this must be one of your bucket list items when in Las Vegas is because so many readers keep asking me to put it on the list. The Grand Canyon is very popular with Las Vegas visitors so who am I to tell people that gambling, drinking, and eating are better than the great outdoors?
