Looking for a Bowling Alley in Las Vegas?

When You Need Some Lanes to Quench Your Need to Bowl in Las Vegas

If you feel the need to bowl while you are in Las Vegas you are in luck because there are quite a few bowling alleys just waiting for you to try your luck with your new technique on the 7 - 10 split. While some are small and conventional other bowling alleys offer live music, neon lanes, 24 hour dance parties and fabulous cocktail programs. Yes, in Las Vegas bowling is also a bit more of a party than your local alley.

You must remember that if you are on the strip you cannot bring your typical league game intensity to the lanes. You'll have bowlers inching up to the line as you prepare to unload your hammer on your pins. You can expect small skirts trying to hide body parts as you bowl and high fives seem to be handed out for no apparent reason. In other words, bowling in Las Vegas is not about competition when it is played on the strip. It is about a social a different way to enjoy the Vegas experience.

If you were to design a bowling alley you may have had fantasies about a place like Brooklyn Bowl, wait, no, you would never decide to put loud music and all the distractions into a bowling alley because you would spend way too much time on the lanes and away from your family. If you just wanted a place to have fun and completely disregarded your bowling league Brooklyn Bowl at The LINQ Las Vegas is exactly what you would be considering.

    Bowling at GameWorks Las Vegas

    ••• Gameworks Las Vegas.

While 8 lanes are not really a full blown bowling alley the difference is that these lanes are surrounded by arcade games and technically are on the Las Vegas strip. If you are traveling with kids and you want a diversion from the pool and the midday sun this way to bowl might be right for you.  Don't expect too much customer service like you might benefit from at your home alley as the people that work here are in charge of a lot of aspects of this very kid friendly attraction.

This is a new attraction and not the Gameworks you may remember on the Las Vegas strip. This new spot is at the Town Square Shopping area and is far nicer than the original. Plenty of food options are nearby and shopping diversions make this an alternative to the hard chairs by the dressing rooms for guys.

They like to call this luxury bowling so be prepared to pay a bit more for your opportunity to knock down a few pins. I would call this resort bowling as the the party can get festive on any given night and if you plan on getting in some serious practice time this would not be the place to be. However, if you are looking to have some fun with friends, this might be the bowling alley of choice.
