Labor Day weekend in Denver offers a variety of events, from at A Taste of Colorado to Rockies games. Outside the city limits, the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo features Jake Owen, while Jazz Aspen Snowmass showcases No Doubt and Lenny Kravitz. In 2015, Labor Day falls on Monday, Sept. 7.

  • A Taste of Colorado
    Dates: Friday, Sept. 4 - Monday Sept. 7, 2015
    Times: 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. Fri., 10:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sat. & Sun., 10:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Mon.
    Location: Civic Center Park
    What: The 32nd-annual event at Civic Center Park draws foodies from around the city to sample food from more than 50 of Denver's finest restaurants. Free musical acts include Kansas on Fri. at 7:30 p.m., Morris Day and the Time on Sat. at 7:30 p.m. and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Sun. at 7:30 p.m.
    Cost: Free admission. Food tickets are $10 for a strip of 15 tickets.

  • Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival
    Dates: Friday, Sept. 4 - Sunday Sept. 6, 2015
    Time: Music starts at 6 p.m. Fri., 3 p.m. Sat. & Sun
    Location: Snowmass Village
    What: Performers at the 25th-annual music festival in the mountains include No Doubt, Lenny Kravitz and The Fray.
    Cost: Tickets are $15 - $80.50 for Friday and $35 - $89 for Saturday or Sunday. A pass for all three days is $199.45. Ticket prices include convenience fee.

    Dates: Friday, Aug. 28 - Monday, Sept. 7, 2015
    Time: Grounds are open 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily
    Location: Colorado State Fairgrounds, Pueblo
    What: Jake Owen plays at the fair on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. Fiesta Day on Sunday, Sept. 6includes a parade and crowning of the Fiesta Queen.
    Cost: Admission to the fair for adults is $7 Mon. - Thurs. and $10 Fri. - Sun. Children's admission is $7 every day. Some concert tickets are an additional fee.
