Water Park Overview
The indoor water park at King's Pointe is quite small compared to most indoor water parks, but it does pack some nice features into a tight space. The centerpiece is the Electric Eel, an enclosed "interactive" raft ride. Guests choose a theme before riding, and imagery is projected onto water screens inside the tube along with accompanying sounds. The park also offers two other water slides, Intrepid Cyclone and Runaway Rebel, as well as a zero-entry pool with basketball hoops, a lazy river, and a lily pad walk.
During the warmer months, the outdoor water attractions open, including a lazy river, speed slides, the Twisted Tornado bowl ride, and another interactive slide, Discovery Plunge. There are also kiddie water slides, a splash pad, and a zero-entry pool.
While King's Point does offer watery fun and can be an especially welcome respite during winter's chill, there are much larger indoor water park resorts. You can check them out in my feature, A Lotta Water: Where are the Largest Indoor Water Parks?
