Whether you choose the dolphin, mermaid, ocean, pirate, shark, or young scientist theme, you’ll receive a special birthday shout-out in the aquarium’s Ocean Voyager gallery, a behind-the-scenes tour of several aquarium galleries, and fun games matched to the theme of each party. All parties include a theme-decorated sheet cake, ice cream, and juice or milk for all party guests to be enjoyed in the party room. Outside food and drink aren't allowed in the aquarium, but you can enjoy snacks at Cafe Aquaria during your visit.     Panda bears aren’t the only special guests at Zoo Atlanta—festive birthday party packages for kids that include the use of the Publix Birthday Pavilion for 90 minutes and 16 tickets to the zoo are also available. You’ll also get pizza, chips, juice, and your choice of a sweet treat for dessert. Evening parties come with access to the zoo’s splash fountain (open from April to October). There are also plenty of customizable activities available, whether you want to experience an animal encounter, have caricature drawings, or hire a henna artist. Whatever you decide, the birthday kid and his or her friends are sure to have an unforgettable time among the giraffes, zebras, and snapping turtles.

In addition to hanging out with the museum’s 123-foot-long argentinosaurus (the largest dinosaur ever found), you’ll get unlimited access to the museum for 10 children and 10 adults, enjoy two hours in the private party room, and take pictures on the special dinosaur thrones. Each birthday kid will receive a Fernbank T-shirt as a gift, and each party guest will leave with a dinosaur-themed goodie bag. In addition, when you reserve a birthday party, you can buy tickets to the IMAX Theatre at a special rate. The fee includes museum admission for 10 children and 10 adults, a personal party host, and a free museum admission for each party guest to use in the future. Choose the science or art theme and bring along your own food, drink, cake, and favors for the party.     Although there are no special party packages or private tours available, taking a tour of the Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary is an unusual and affordable way to celebrate your child’s birthday. Noah’s Ark is a 250-acre animal habitat for more than 1,500 abused and neglected animals. Walk freely through the park at your own pace on the self-guided tours. They are available from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at no cost, although donations are appreciated. There are picnic tables available for you to bring your own lunch and a playground for your party guests to enjoy after exploring this unique animal habitat.

It offers two packages for birthday celebrations. In addition, each party guest will take home a goodie bag filled with a doll tiara, and the birthday girl will get a commemorative keepsake. The Deluxe Birthday Celebration includes everything in the Bistro Birthday Celebration, along with a private party space and a unique craft for the table to complete. With this package, you can also make reservations for your guests’ dolls at the Doll Hair Salon. Just make sure you’ll have at least four dolls receiving services and call at least three weeks in advance.

One of Atlanta’s newest entertainment venues, Topgolf offers birthday party options for kids and teens (and adults, too). In addition to teeing off throughout the night, all parties have access to games that include pool and shuffleboard, 70-inch TVs with X-Box connections, corn hole, and life-size Jenga. Packages are available with a minimum head count of 12 guests. Each package includes your choice of two types of meat and two side dishes, with cupcakes and additional food options available for an extra fee. However, you can bring your own store-bought cake. You can buy golf-themed party favors, as well, or you can bring your own goodie bags. Keep in mind that two adults are required for every 12 children, and one event ambassador will be staffed for every 20 party guests.
