  • Kelsey is a freelance writer based in Jersey City, New Jersey. She has been covering travel for TripSavvy since 2022.
  • Kelsey is an adrenaline junkie who has traveled the world in search of adventures, from skiing in a blizzard in Chile to kite-surfing in Mexico. Her favorite destinations include Spain, Mexico, and Poland.
  • She holds a bachelor’s degree in English rhetoric and global culture from Binghamton University.

Kelsey started her career as an event manager, planning and traveling to events across the United States. Then, she spent several years on the sales and marketing team of a luxury lifestyle hotel in New York City, where she learned the ins and outs of the travel industry first-hand.

Now she writes for a number of websites, including and Bucketlisters, as well as several regional blogs, tourism boards, and hotels.

Her passion for travel started early in life when her mother's job at British Airways allowed her to travel frequently on standby, opening up a world of possibilities. A high school exchange program to Japan only solidified her wanderlust; since then, she has traveled to over 20 countries and counting.

Kelsey began contributing to TripSavvy in 2022.

Kelsey graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor’s degree in English rhetoric and global culture. During her time in school, she was a staff writer for the university’s student-run newspaper, Pipe Dream.

She also spent a semester abroad at the Universitat de Barcelona, studying Spanish language and culture.
